Modem Board Check
Do the following to isolate the problem to the system internal modem:
- Boot from the diagnostics diskette and start the PQA program
(please refer to 'Running the PQA Diagnostics Program').
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the test.
If an error occurs with the internal modem, do the following:
- Change to another telephone line and test again.
- Re-plug the telephone connector.
- Reconnect the modem board.
- Replace the modem connector.
- Replace the system board.
