IBM ServeRAID Configuration CD and Diskettes

This section contains information about the ServeRAID device drivers and utility programs provided in the ServeRAID Support Package, which comes with the ServeRAID-3H and ServeRAID-3L adapters.
The support package contains the IBM ServeRAID Configuration CD and two diskettes.

IBM periodically makes updated versions of the ServeRAID device drivers and utility programs available from the IBM Support page on the World Wide Web.
In addition to the updated device drivers and utility programs, there are also two ServeRAID command-line programs, IPSSEND and IPSMON, available from the World Wide Web. These programs are both on the IBM ServeRAID Command Line Programs Diskette .

You can download the most current versions of the ServeRAID device drivers and utility programs or a copy of the IBM ServeRAID Command Line Programs Diskette from the following address on the World Wide Web:

From the IBM Support page:

Select IBM Server Support; then, select Server Options from the Family menu.
Select Downloadable Files; then, select ServeRAID.

Note: If you do not have access to the World Wide Web, contact the place of purchase, the IBM reseller, or the IBM marketing representative for replacement CDs or diskettes.

The IBM ServeRAID Configuration CD contains the following:

ServeRAID Configuration Program. This program runs when you start (boot) the CD.
ServeRAID Administration and Monitoring Program. These program files are in the /PROGRAMS/DISK3 directory.

ServeRAID files needed to install Microsoft Cluster Server (MSCS) when using Windows NT and an IBM ServeRAID II Ultra SCSI Adapter or an IBM ServeRAID-3H Ultra2 SCSI Adapter.
These files are in the /PROGRAMS/DISK5 directory on the IBM ServeRAID Configuration CD . Detailed instructions for installing and using these files are provided in the 'IBM Netfinity High-Availability Cluster Solution Installation and User's Guide'.

The IBM ServeRAID Device Driver Diskette contains the following:

DOS CD-ROM drive device drivers
Device Drivers and the background-server component for Microsoft Windows NT
Device Drivers, Administration and Monitoring Program, and the background-server components for OS/2 Warp Server, OS/2 LAN Server, Novell NetWare 3.12, and Novell NetWare 4.1X

The IBM ServeRAID Device Drivers for SCO Operating Systems Diskette contains the following:

Device drivers and the background-server component for SCO OpenServer 5.0.0, 5.0.2, and 5.0.4.
Device Drivers and background-server component for SCO UnixWare 7.0
