Software Recovery Procedure

The Recovery CD includes an install program that can be used to restore the original system software.

To recover the original software on the hard disk drive, use the following procedures:

1.  Insert the Aptiva recovery CD into the CD-ROM drive then restart computer.
2.  Depress F1 while POST to enter BIOS Setup menu. Select and enter  'Startup Options', set the first priority of boot sequence to CD-ROM.
    Save and exit from BIOS Setup.
3.  After system boots from recovery CD, you will be prompted with an 'IBM Product Recovery Program' menu,
    follow the instructions on the screen to operate the software recovery procedure.
