POWER Supply
If the power-on indicator is not on, the power-supply fan is not running, or the computer
will not power-off, do the following.

Check/Verify
FRU/Action
1. Verify that the voltage-selector switch
is set for the correct voltage.Correct the voltage
selector switch setting.
2. Check the following for
proper installation.
° Power Cord
° ON/Off Switch connector
° ON/Off Switch Power Supply connector
° System Board Power Supply connectorsReseat
3. Check the power cord for for
proper continuity.Power Cord
4. Check the power-on switch for continuity
Power-on Switch
If these are correct, check the following voltages.
System Board Connections (P1 / P2 and P11)
Notes: The voltages must be checked with the power supply
cables connected to the system board.
If the voltages are not correct, and the power cord is good,
then replace the power supply.
If the voltages are correct, and the computer you are servicing has a power supply
connector on the riser card, check the riser card voltages.
Riser Card Connections (P10)
Notes: The voltages must be checked with the power supply
cables connected to the riser card.
If the voltages are not correct, and the power cord is good,
then replace the power supply.
20-Pin Main Power Supply Connection
The 20-pin main power supply connector is located on the riser card for PC-300 Types:
For PC 360-S150 (Type 6598) and all IntelliStation models, the 20-pin main power supply
connector is located on the system board.
These voltages must be checked with the power supply cables connected to the system board
or riser card.
